With the “letdown” that was Modern Warfare 2′s multiplayer — to the competitive PC community at least – there have been a lot of questions surrounding the multiplayer of the new upcoming Call of Duty game. All speculations aside, the Call of Duty: Black Ops team released a video of the upcoming games “Wager” match features, as well as a hint at what’s to come.
Multiplayer Revealed
On September 1st, we held our highly anticipated, global hands-on multiplayer press event in Los Angeles. At the event, we introduced a variety of new features to expand on Call of Duty’s awesome multiplayer experience. Wager Match is a brand new multiplayer game mode.
Along with Wager Matches, we introduced several other new features. Customize your character and weapon to levels never before seen in a Call of Duty game. Create the perfect insignia in the new Emblem Editor. Direct epic gameplay videos in Theater Mode. And much more. Stay tuned for more in-depth information about these new features.

Dedicated servers is a big plus for the pc players, as well as mod capabilities, so they’ve clearly listen carefully to the community.
Strange how the swing in hype has swung from MoH to black ops. Shall have to wait and see with regards to both games, but I’m not as against it as I was.
Yeah, it definitely is jumping around after MoH’s BETA. If they bring dedicated servers I’ll be all over CoD again though for sure.
