Warner Bros have today confirmed that the most gory fighter ever – Mortal Kombat will be returning next year. The new title appears to be going back to it’s roots, with fatalities, plenty of gore and great special moves. The new game will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
New features announced include tag team fights, online co-op arcade mode and “the deepest story mode of any fighting game.”
“We are bringing the Mortal Kombat franchise back to gamers with the talented NetherRealm Studios team creating the game fans long to play,” Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment president Martin Tremblay stated.
As well as the announcement we have the new trailer for you all to watch. I’m sure all of you will remember some of the levels that appear. I have to say though Kung Laos new “OddJob” trick with his hat looks pretty awesome. What do you all think?
