News | PS3 Life Gets New Standard

If like me since you unpacked your shiny black PS3, there’s one part still left alone. Playstation Life, a seemingly pointless feature of the system. Life was set up as a news channel, a way to see the latest headlines as well as up to date weather reports. It actually works quite well, I just personally haven’t found many useful ways to use it.
However banish these thoughts especially if you live in the States. Today Sony have activated a new channel allowing you to stream trailers of the latest games available on the PSN network. If you like what you see then just click on the link to be taken direct to the purchase page on the Playstation store, without leaving the Life app. Not a bad idea, unfortunately it’s reported to only work in the US at the moment, even if you have created a US account over here.
Still hopefully Europe will soon see it released, more news as we get it.
