Despite the fact that Star Wars: The Old Republic being listed on an Xbox 360 release sheet, BioWare has quickly stepped in to correct it, stating it was an error and that the game “should not be on there.” Sean Dahlberg of BioWare informed everyone that he hadn’t the slightest clue how the game had gotten on the list.
Additionally, he said on the TOR forums that the game is currently under development for the PC: “Star Wars: The Old Republic is currently being developed for the personal computer (PC) using the Microsoft® Windows® operating system. While we recognize that there are other operating systems and platforms available for games today, our development is specific to the personal computer using the Windows operating system at this time.”
Those who were hoping for an upgrade on the Xbox 360 will instead have to look towards Microsoft’s other platform.
